Well, I suppose the best way to begin this blog is to let everyone know a little about us and what I plan to do with this blog! I am a SAHM to my two wonderful children, E. who is 5 1/2 and R who will be turning 1 on March 14th. I have been married for 6 years to my amazing husband and our life together has been a bit of a roller coaster. I'm sure many people can say the same but I really am amazed some days how we have made it this far with everything we have been through.
My interests are many and varied and I am always trying to grow and evolve as a person. So...I guess I don't have a very specific purpose with this blog as I have seen with many. A lot of bloggers dedicate their time to exploring and sharing very specific things such as their parenting styles or being eco friendly etc. I plan just to share whatever may hit me to share at any given time. Expect lots of randomness. Expect many posts in a quick succession in the beginning and I don't know what will happen from there. Maybe this blog will grow and evolve out of my control!
I also want to say to anyone reading (especially other Mothers) I am not the type of person who has a clearly defined parenting style. I know many Moms look for other Mothers who subscribe to their ways of thinking to share and learn techniques and whatever it is you do... you probably aren't going to find it here. What I do feel is that my job as a Mother is to help my children grow into the best them they can be and I am willing to try or do anything to see that happen. I try to always remain open minded about parenthood and everything else in my life and pride myself on the fact. BUT...many days this Motherhood thing still has me feeling like a fish out of water.
Also, sorry for the generic appearance. I have started this on a whim and am going to work on injecting my personality into it as I go and learn!
